Yesterday brought rain, rain and more rain. Torrents of rain!
Today we have a constant mist that seems to soften the color of all things organic and the edges of all things manmade. 
Tomorrow...well we are hoping for sun. 

All I really know for sure is that rain, sun or something in between the Loft is always bright shiny and new.

Chiseled in stone....

Well, not really, but we did add our name to the lovely marble facade next to our front door. 

And....on a warm day, it's lovely to sit a spell and ponder.

Who are we kidding. Anoka is not a "pondering" kind of town. The historic downtown area is filled to the brim with shops, restaurants and a variety of sites sounds and smells.  All good of  course! You really shouldn't miss it.  If you are a first timer, call, e-mail or stop by us first and we'll make sure you have all the info you need to have a fabulous shopping and dining experience.

Occasional Sale Week with a Special Presentation

 

This past month has flown by and we can't believe Occasional Sale week is upon us already!  We've been busy switching things around and refreshing all the vignettes, along with bringing lots and lots of new items in.  And as we told you in the last post, we have a very special guest, Adrienne Schrunk, who will be giving a  presentation on "Tablescaping and Entertaining Ideas".  And if you're anything like me, we certainly all could use some added inspiration in that area.  With Father's Day and Graduation Open Houses upon us, it's great to have some additional ideas to make those events extra special.  Her presentation starts at 6:00, but you may want to get there early to guarantee a good seat.  Refreshments will also be served.

Also an added reminder that our good customer and friend, Laurie, will be at the Loft from 4-6 pm giving 5 minute complimentary messages.  Can the day get any better than this?  Well maybe some extra special vintage finds found at the Loft.  Just the way to make it perfect!

WE FINALLY GOT IT! SUMMER THAT IS.. WHERE DID SPRINGTIME GO?

Hi Everyone,
   We are really appreciating this wonderful weather one day at a time aren't we?  We are very fortunate here in Minnesota to have an awesome state to live in.  We never know what to expect, us Minnesotans really appreciate the warmth when it comes...
   We are doing this posting without pictures for now.. wanted to let our customers know about this Thursday night for Girl's Night Out Event.  Our friend and customer Adrienne Schrunk is doing a presentation this Thursday eve at 6pm on "Tablescaping and Entertaining Ideas", for a Father's Day, a BBQ and a Girl's Night Out Party.  Adrienne is going to show us how to use "old jars and bottles" for our home decorating and entertaining.  Refreshments will be served, come join us and Adrienne for this fun and free demonstration this Thursday it starts at 6pm so don't be late, you might miss something! 
    Also our  friend and customer Laurie will be here from 4-6pm  for your complimentary 5 minute massages, you can't get any thing better than this!
